Hook & Paddle provides a unique opportunity to enter the world of kayak fishing through a fun, welcoming, and relaxed tournament experience. Whether you're a seasoned angler or brand new to kayak fishing, our events are designed to build community, encourage friendly competition, and showcase some of the best fishing destinations in New Brunswick.
Hook & Paddle offers two tournament formats: our Multi-Species Series and our Bass Series. Both operate as catch-photo-release competitions and take anglers to a variety of exciting waterways throughout the province. The series is made up of individual tournaments that feature event champions, prizes, and sponsor giveaways. Season-long standings are determined by anglers who accumulate the highest combined lengths of eligible species throughout the year, rewarding consistency, strategy, and versatility on the water. More than just a fishing series, Hook & Paddle is a community-driven fundraising initiative supporting the work of ShareWord Global. Through registrations, sponsorships, and partnerships, the series helps support efforts to equip believers, strengthen local communities, and share hope with people across Canada and around the world. By participating in Hook & Paddle, anglers are helping support evangelism, community outreach, and Scripture-sharing initiatives that make a lasting impact far beyond the water.
