HOOK & PADDLE MULTI-SPECIES SERIES #2 – BELLEISLE BAY

After a few early morning showers greeted anglers at launch, the weather quickly settled, and the bay showed off. Calm conditions greeted our anglers for the shotgun start at Hatfield Point, with only a light breeze building through the afternoon. It was one of those days that reminds you just how special Belleisle Bay really is.

A huge field of 43 anglers hit the water in search of 16 eligible species, and the bay delivered in a big way!

10 different species were caught.
182 fish submissions were entered throughout the day.

A special thank you to Mayor Randy McKnight and the entire Belleisle community for making Hook & Paddle feel welcome during our first-ever visit to the bay. The local support from the Nyenhuis crew, volunteers, sponsors, and anglers was incredible.

Andrew Craig took home the $120 Lunker Bass prize with the largest bass submitted during the event.
